Fall Flowers
This is a store-bought bouquet from my wonderful husband, but I will attempt to replicate it for Thanksgiving.

Fall cards
Invitations are more fun when mailed.
However, one of these Thanksgiving invitations was sadly returned to me by the post office - it said that the length to width ratio was unable to be sorted by machines. For future inviations, make sure it's a rectangle!

Autumn signs!
Jess's autumn sign |
Amanda's autumn sign |
Materials: Plywood, sandpaper, white primer, pencils, letter shapes, acrylic paint and paint brushes.
Procedure: We had the hardware store cut the wood to size (about 16" long). Next, we lightly sanded it and then primed it using foam brushes. We traced around the letters with pencil, then filled in the letters with paint. Display by leaning the sign against a wall.
Total time: One evening

Family Crafting
I brought origami paper and instruction books from the library to my parents' to do origami with my cousins while we watched the Super Bowl.
The swan pattern was from the Minigami book but it's similar to this Pelican pattern; Crane pattern.
